	"Roxoleum" The Roxana Petroleum Company Magazine from February 1920	This untitled issue, Volume 3 Number 2,was published in February 1920. “Roxoleum”, the company publication of Roxana Petroleum Corporation, was a series of magazines published over the course of three years, starting during WWI as a link between the company and service members. This monthly magazine was named “Dawn” and underwent a name change in 1918. The magazine features poems, cartoons, short stories, company information, letters from soldiers, photos, celebrations, pictorials of employees who are service members, and much more. The information was largely contributed by employees and staff members. In the last issue of the magazine the President van der Gracht stated, “We have been feeling, of late, that ‘Roxoleum,’ which was created as a special periodical for times of unusual disturbance, and as a tie between the staff at home and our boys at the battle front or in the training camps, has now fulfilled its purpose and that we can lay it to rest with this issue.”	February 1920	November 6, 2017

	1940 Winchester Model 1912 Shotgun	This shotgun is a Winchester Model 1912 internal-hammer, pump-action gun with an external tube magazine. The United States military used this type of gun in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The owner of this particular gun used it to hunt geese, deer, squirrels, turkeys, rabbits, and other animals. This shotgun was scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2019. It was scanned by Jenna Christeson.	1940	May 21, 2019
	1940s Chinese Paper Money	These seven bills of Chinese paper money were issued in the 1930s and 1940s by either the Bank of China or the Central Bank of China. They were brought to Madison County by an American soldier who was stationed in northern China immediately after World War II. These bills were scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2018. They were brought to class by the soldier's granddaughter, Dara Parks. 	1963 and 1964 Vietnam War Draft Classifications Sent to Eugene Weinmann	These two draft notifications were sent to Bethalto resident Eugene Weinmann during the early years of the Vietnam War draft. The first was sent October 28, 1963 and classified Weinmann in 1-A, making him available for unrestricted military service. The second was sent October 19, 1964, which classified him in 3-A and made him unavailable for military service due to "hardship to dependents." Weinmann also had hearing and sight issues. The local draft board was located on Hillsboro Avenue in Edwardsville. These documents were scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2019.
