I have always been interested in history; as a child, I was the nerdy kid who checked out the same books on Egypt from the library week after week. Growing up in such a historically rich area prompted me to dedicate my studies to the field of history in college, and I have been expanding on that love for my community by becoming an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Madison Historical. Currently, I am a student at SIUE majoring in History with a specialization in Applied Historical Methods.
