This collection contains photographs and documents related to the Southwestern Illinois Intercity Baseball League, particularly focused on the Maryville team, the Maryville Red Sox. The items were digitized at the Maryville Heritage Museum and copies were donated to Madison Historical.

Sloat was a Major Leage Baseball Pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago Cubs in the 1948 and 1949 seasons. Krupski also managed the Martinsville Manufacturers, a St. Louis Cardinals feeder team in 1939. He played for the Martinsville Manufacturers in 1934, 1935 and 1939. Oberkfell played for six different professional baseball teams from 1977 to 1992. He played both third and second base. Oberkfell worked in the Minor Leagues as a coach.
