Patrick Riddleberger Oral History This oral history interview with Ellen Nore-Nordhouser is part of a collection of oral histories conducted as part of a research project related to the 50th Anniversary of SIUE between 2005 and 2008.

In this interview Riddleberger talks about the estabishment of the Alton, East St. Louis and Edwardsville college campuses, his travel to India as a Fulbright Scholar and his relationships with other members of the faculty and the adminstration from the 1970s to the early 2000s.

2006 "What Do I Recall - Memories of SIUE" by Rudolph G. Wilson This is a document created by Rudolph (Rudy) Wilson, the Vice-Chancellor of SIUE in 2006. The document describes Wilson's hiring, his difficulties finding housing in the St. Louis metropolitan area as an African-American man and his work at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The account is three pages long and additionally lists a series of awards or recognitions Dr. WIlson had earned throughout his tenure at SIUE and as a member of the community. Rudolph (Rudy) Wilson Oral History This oral history interview with Ellen Nore-Nordhouser is part of a collection of oral histories conducted as part of a research project related to the 50th Anniversary of SIUE between 2005 and 2008.

In this interview, Vice-Chancellor Rudolph (Rudy) Wilson discusses the changes in the Metro-East Area. Wilson addresses his work as a member of the Education Department faculty and dealing with racial tensions throughout the Metro-East community as well as inside the educational system after being recruited to teach at SIU Edwardsville, Illinois from the school system in California. His attempts to locate housing, his work in charity and volunteerism, and his bid for political office on the local School Board are also discussed in the interview.
