Description

This sewing kit was used by Kenny Flowers in World War II in 1918. Sewing kits were used in the war to mend uniforms and dress wounds. This kit includes buttons, needles, safety pins, scissors, and thread.

This sewing kit was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2018. It was brought to class by Flowers' great-granddaughter, Emily Westerhold.
