Description

This photogrpah shows Esther Bernhardt operating the switchboard for the entire community of Prairietown in 1954. Prairietown is an unincorporated community northwest of Worden. The calendar on the wall shows May and June of 1954.

This bottle was scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2019. It was brought to class by Bernhardt's great-grandson, Tony Singleton.
