Description

This is a recipe that has been in Emma Hosto's family for approximately 8 decades and is made for special occasions and holidays by the family. The recipe states to make the base add 1 bag of romaine lettuce, 1 cup of shredded swiss cheese, 1 medium apple, 1/4cup dried cranberries, and 1/2 cup chopped cashews. The dressing calls for 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup red wine vinegar, 2T lemon juice, 1T diced onions, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Mix all the dressing ingredients together, lastly add 2/3 cup veg. oil and pour over the base.
