Description

This is a gold colored Animal Control pet tag with faded lettering reading "2006 Rabies Vacc 36990 IL Dept of Agri Madison County." It was used to identify pets and let people know if they have had their rabies vaccination.

This tag was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Grace Taylor.
