Headgear This wrestling headgear has two molded ear covers for protection. The moulded ear covers are covered with black fabric and three parts where it is white and has seven small holes on each white part. There are straps throughout to keep the headpiece firmly attached during wrestling matches.

This headgear was brought in by Rosie Sanders as a part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in February 2020.

Hartsburg outhouse replica from the 1930s This is a doll-sized model of an outhouse built in the 1930s. It has two different bathroom doors. One was labeled "HERR" in red and the other was labeled "DAMEN" in the same red ink. There are little toilets inside each door.

This object was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Jacob Wibben. The outhouse was created by the student's great uncle, twice removed.

Handbill for the Southwestern Illinois Inter-City Baseball League 1955 Season This is a tri-fold pamphlet for the Southwestern Illinois inter-City Baseball League 1955 season. One side of the pamphlet is a glossy silver with black ink text, while the other side is white with black text ink. The bill includes the schedule, advertisements for supporting local businesses , board members, graduates who played Major League Baseball, a list of game locations, and a list of how the standings and final cup selection works. The pamphlet also features information on celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Southwester Illinois Inter-City Baseball league. Size unfolded: 11" x 8.75" 1955 October 2, 2019

Hamel State Bank Bicentennial U.S.A Plate This is a plate from the Hamel State Bank in 1976. This plate bought as a birthday present for a family member of Alex Fox. It was chipped in the process of moving between houses. The plate is over 30 years old and has an American flag with military soldiers on it.

This commemorative plate was brought in by Alex Fox as a part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in February 2020.

Hallway of the Madison County Nursing Home in 2002 After Mine Subsidence This photograph shows a hallway inside the Madison County Nursing Home in 2002. The nursing home closed in the late 1990s. The building was torn down a few years after the photo was taken. December 20, 2002 August 13, 2018
Half of the African Zulu Cannibals Baseball Team This is a black and white group photograph of half the "African Zulu Cannibals" baseball team. The image cuts the other half of the team off and is blurred. The African Zulus were an all African American baseball team that traveled around the country playing local teams. The Collinsville Indians played the Zulu's in 1949 at the Collinsville High School. Size: 8" x 10" May 30, 1949 October 2, 2019
Hal Patton Oral History Interview In this oral history interview, Hal Patton describes growing up in Edwardsville as a young boy. He details his educational path and the challenges and success he has encountered through his career as a dentist and local politician. He talks about his time as a city alderman as well as his time as the mayor of Edwardsville. He explores the success of the community of Edwardsville and how he has helped aid in that process.
