1999 Original Print of the Wood River Refinery, Given to JoAnn Laird Upon Her Retirement | This limited edition print of the Wood River Refinery was drawn by St. Louis artist John Pils in 1999. The Shell refinery gave the print to JoAnn Laird upon her retirement from the refinery in 2000. This print is 262 of the 2000 total prints created. 1999 Collins Outlaw Family Cookbook | This cookbook was made for the 23rd Collins Family Reunion which took place in 1999. The book has and has been passed down from generation to generation. Katy was the one who said we should make a coookbook for our family. It has been passed down ever since. Cindy Jones Oral History | This oral history interview with Ellen Nore-Nordhouser is part of a collection of oral histories conducted as part of a research project related to the 50th Anniversary of SIUE between 2005 and 2008. Jones examines the change in leadership over time at the university level but also within the athletic realm. She outlines the change of Athletic Directors since the 1970s. The movement of SIUE from Division Two in athletics to a Division One university and the attention of the university to academics for athletes. |
