	Declaration of Covenants and Restriction for Burns Farm from 1991	This is a paper copy in black and white of Burns Farm Subdivision bylaws. It was used to tell the people who lived in this neighborhood how to build their houses and other rules they had to follow. This document was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Eva Witt. It was given to the Witt family when they bought their house in the neighborhood.	1991	March 4, 2020
	Mary Spaich Oral History Interview	This oral history interview with Mary Spaich was part of oral histories conducted in the fall 2001 semester of History 447: Oral History. In this interview, Mary Spaich discusses growing up in the Lincoln Place neighborhood of Granite City. She was born in Granite City in 1916 to Serbian parents who had immigrated from Yugoslavia in 1914. She describes her life in Lincoln Place and changes in the area since her childhood. 	Nevart Hagopian Oral History Interview	This oral history interview with Nevart Hagopian was part of oral histories conducted in the fall 2001 semester of History 447: Oral History. Nevart Hagopian is a survivor of the Armenian genocide who left Armenia with her mother at the age of 12 in 1920 and migrated to the Lincoln Place neighborhood of Granite City. In the interview, she discusses the Armenian community and culture in Lincoln Place. Hagopian primarily speaks in Armenian in the interview, with Vartan Kassabian serving as a translator. Father Kassabian was a priest for St. Gregory Armenian Church in Granite City. Note: The original archive copies of the interview transcript and biographical summary had grading marks and corrections on them. 	Rudolph (Rudy) Wilson Oral History	This oral history interview with Ellen Nore-Nordhouser is part of a collection of oral histories conducted as part of a research project related to the 50th Anniversary of SIUE between 2005 and 2008. In this interview, Vice-Chancellor Rudolph (Rudy) Wilson discusses the changes in the Metro-East Area. Wilson addresses his work as a member of the Education Department faculty and dealing with racial tensions throughout the Metro-East community as well as inside the educational system after being recruited to teach at SIU Edwardsville, Illinois from the school system in California. His attempts to locate housing, his work in charity and volunteerism, and his bid for political office on the local School Board are also discussed in the interview.	March 7, 2006	December 5, 2020
	2006 "What Do I Recall - Memories of SIUE" by Rudolph G. Wilson	This is a document created by Rudolph (Rudy) Wilson, the Vice-Chancellor of SIUE in 2006. The document describes Wilson's hiring, his difficulties finding housing in the St. Louis metropolitan area as an African-American man and his work at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The account is three pages long and additionally lists a series of awards or recognitions Dr. WIlson had earned throughout his tenure at SIUE and as a member of the community. 	2005 List of "African American and African Faculty Hires Since 1968 Not Including Faculty from Experiment in Higher Education" at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville	This printed color spreadsheet was created by Rudolph (Rudy) Wilson and given to Ellen Nore-Nordhouser during her oral history interview with him for the 50th anniversary of SIUE in 2006. The document is dated 2005-10-20 in the footer and lists the names, rank, tenure status, retirement dates and dates of hire of all the African American and African faculty members who had worked at the university since 1968. 	Patrick Riddleberger Oral History	This oral history interview with Ellen Nore-Nordhouser is part of a collection of oral histories conducted as part of a research project related to the 50th Anniversary of SIUE between 2005 and 2008.
