Vicky Siers has lived most of her life in Lincoln Place and was born to Hungarian immigrant parents in the 1940s. In this interview, she describes her childhood, family history, the pride people from Lincoln Place have in their community and its diversity, and special community organizations such as the community center at Lincoln Place.

Volume 6 of Funk & Wagnalls Standard Reference Encyclopedia from 1959 This volume of the Funk & Wagnalls Standard Reference Encyclopedia was publisehd in 1959. The entry on Chemistry was photographed. Though the encyclopedia covers words from "Cell" to "Colo," it does not contain an entry on the Cold War.

This encyclopedia volume was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2018. It was brought to class by Erin Spahr.
