1997 Photograph of an East Alton Bungalow Built in the 1940s This 1997 photograph shows two homes in East Alton. The home on the left is a frame bungalow located at 522 Lincoln Avenue in East Alton, Illinois. Both houses were built in the 1940s as part of a housing tract for the growing number of employees of Winchester/Olin in East Alton. Both homes have been renovated to a more contemporary style. 1999 Original Print of the Wood River Refinery, Given to JoAnn Laird Upon Her Retirement This limited edition print of the Wood River Refinery was drawn by St. Louis artist John Pils in 1999. The Shell refinery gave the print to JoAnn Laird upon her retirement from the refinery in 2000. This print is 262 of the 2000 total prints created.

This print was scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2019. It was brought to class by Gavin Witsken.
