Kid Walters Tavern in Highland This postcard shows the interior of Kid Walters Tavern in Highland sometime during his ownership from 1933 to 1952. In 1952 he sold the tavern to Jim and Ethel Hirsch, and the tavern became known as Ethel's. It is still in operation as Ethel's as of 2018. Circa 1933 - 1952 August 27, 2018

Kenneth "Obie" Oberkfell at Ready Stance in St. Louis Cardinals Uniform This is a black and white photograph of Kenneth Raymond Oberkfell at ready stance on baseball field while wearing St. Louis Cardinals Uniform. Oberkfell played for six different professional baseball teams from 1977 to 1992. He played both third and second base. Oberkfell worked in the Minor Leagues as a coach. When Oberkfell entered the Major Leagues in August 1977 he played for the St. Louis Cardinals. circa 1970s November 13, 2019
