Blue Golden Anniversary Envelope This is a Standard Oil Company envelope celebrating the 50-year anniversary (1907-1957). The envelope reads, "Fifty Years of Progress" and "Friday, Saturday, Sunday September 20, 21, 22, 1957." The special stationary is emblematic of the importance of the celebration to Standard Oil in Wood River. An illustration of Lewis and Clark is displayed along the left side of envelope. Wood River is contentiously one of the locations of Camp DuBois, Lewis and Clark's encampment before setting out on the "Corp of Discovery" in 1803. 1957 October 25, 2018

The woman at the center of the image holding a flower bouquet is being crowned by a gentleman. Men are standing behind each of the women. One man is holding a microphone. Two Men Standing on Stage Outdoor This is a black and white 8' by 10" photograph of two men on an outdoor stage. One appears to be holding a book in air, which has smoke coming from it while the other holds a microphone. The men are labeled with Post-It notes as Slim Longwisch on the left and John Bacheldor on the right. The man at bottom of stage looking up is labeled as Clarence Ansell. There is no further information on back. The photo was taken as a part of the 1957 50th Anniversary festivities of the Wood River, Standard Oil refinery. 1957 October 25, 2018
1957 Alton Industry Expostion Standard Oil Display Booth This is a black and white photograph of the Alton Industrial Exhibition booth celebrating Standard Oil's 50th Anniversary. A table is on display and set up with Standard Oil cans, two glass globes from the top of crown logo gas pumps, tires and an image of a man at an old oil field pump at the center. A banner at the top middle of the display reads "WOODRIVER REFINERY 1907-1957 50 Golden Years Standard Oil Co."
