1965 Poster for Farm Auction in Belleview, Illinois | This poster from 1965 was used to advertise a farm auction in Belleview, Illinois in Calhoun County. Joyce A. Jennings, the owner of the farm, was selling the farm following the death of her husband, and was auctioning off various farm equipment, crops, and other miscellaneous material goods. A lunch was also held at the auction, provided by the North Calhoun Woman’s Club. This poster was scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2018. It was brought to class by Ryan Pierce. |
