Description

This 1909 photograph shows a band from the Western Military Academy standing on a path in a cemetery. Behind the band are a group of well-dressed old men holding flowers. The men wear medals on their coats. The photo was likely taken at the Oakwood Cemetery, or Upper Alton Cemetary, for Memorial Day 1909.
