Fairmont City
Fairmont City is a village in both St. Clair and Madison counties. Incorporated between 1910 and 1920, by 1920 the village of Fairmont city had a population of 1,056.((Fifteenth Census of the United States: 1930, Population Volume I (Washington: Government Printing Office, 1931), 316.))
