	Circa 1900 Iron Cast Nutcracker	This iron dog was manufactured by the Harper Supply Company in Chicago, Illinois. In the 1940s, its mould was destroyed for brass. Its tail is used to open the dog's mouth for use as a nutcracker. This object was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. 	Circa 1934 Zike Family Children in the Front Yard of their Maple Street Home in Collinsville, Illinois	This is a photograph taken by Pearl Zike of her six children. From left to right: Bobby, Donna, Lloyd, Norma, Jackie, and Louis. The image was taken during the summer of 1934 at their residence on Maple Street in Collinsville, Illinois. All of the clothing and toys were handmade. This photograph was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. 	Circa 1970s Apple Sauce Cake Recipe	This is a recipe for apple sauce cake that was created circa 1970, and has since been passed down generationally through Elena Konradt's family. The paper has yellowed with age and has collected stains over time. This recipe was made every year for Elena's grandmother on her birthday. 	Circa 1978 Old Spice Shaving Kit	This shaving kit was manufactured by the Shulton Company circa 1978, with the Old Spice brand name. The company branded their products with colonial sailing ships, this kit in particular is marked with the ship Recovery. The brush was made with boar bristle. 	Clock Given to 30-year Employee of Granite City Steel Mill	This clock was given to an employee of the Granite City Steel Mill for working at the mill for 30 years. The clock's bell rings every hour. This clock was scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2019. It was brought to class by the employee's great-grandon, Austin Prindable. 	Clover Leaf Train Station at Glen Carbon	This station was located east of Meridian Road between the tracks just north of Miner Park. The Clover Leaf later became the Nickel Plate Railroad. J. F. Dickman was the railroad agent. Coal mine No. 1 is at the far right. A brick structure of the mine is now occupied as a residence. Meridian road is on the far left.	January 1900	December 8, 2016
