Two Men Standing on Stage Outdoor This is a black and white 8' by 10" photograph of two men on an outdoor stage. One appears to be holding a book in air, which has smoke coming from it while the other holds a microphone. The men are labeled with Post-It notes as Slim Longwisch on the left and John Bacheldor on the right. The man at bottom of stage looking up is labeled as Clarence Ansell. There is no further information on back. The photo was taken as a part of the 1957 50th Anniversary festivities of the Wood River, Standard Oil refinery. 1957 October 25, 2018

Two Soldiers in an abandoned World War II Hanger in West Germany in the 1960s This photograph shows two soldiers standing in front of a 2HALF ton gas tanker in an abandoned World War II Hanger in West Germany. One of the men is likely Bethalto resident Everett Jett, who was stationed in West Germany from January 1964 to June 1966. Jett served in the 3-703rd Maintenance Battalion, in which he transported gas to other vehicles using this tanker. Jett later served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. When he retunred home to Bethalto, he became a truck driver.

U.S. Navy Machinist's Mate Lester Mack Springman, 1944 This photograph shows Machinist's Mate Lester Mack Springman in his naval uniform during World War II. The photograph was taken in January of 1944. The Machinist Mate ensignia is visible on his left arm.
