1927 to 1931 Journal of Lee Irving Niedringhaus This journal was used by Lee Irving Niedringhaus Jr. from 1927 to 1931 while he was at a boarding school. He was the grandson of William F. Niedringhaus and grandnephew of Frederick Niedringhaus, the founders of Granite City and the National Enameling and Stamping Company. 1929 The Holy Bible-- King James Verson This is a family bible from 1929 lined with gold pages and a silver trimming.

This bible was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Miles Atkinson, whose family owns the Bible.

1930-1950 Autograph Book Signed by Joe Dimaggio Thia is an autograph book from James Hino. It is bound with blue leather, and has gold lettering and a picture of a Greco-Roman figure on the front. Two brass bands hold it together on the left side. It is signed by Joe Dimaggio.

This book was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Jesse Phillips.

1931 Plat Map of Edwardsville This map of Edwardsville was published in 1931 by the Edwardsville Intelligencer. It shows the property boundaries and owners that existed in the town at the time, as well as various town landmarks such as Lusk Memorial Cemetery Park (today Hotz Park), St. Boniface Cemetery, the courthouse, the Lincoln School, the Madison County Tuberculosis Sanitarium, and Legion Park.
