World War II First Aid Kit for Airmen This first aid kit was given to an airman in the United States military during World War II. Inside are bandages, scissors, and dressings.

This first aid kit was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2018. It was brought to class by Allie Stacks.

Circa 1978 Old Spice Shaving Kit This shaving kit was manufactured by the Shulton Company circa 1978, with the Old Spice brand name. The company branded their products with colonial sailing ships, this kit in particular is marked with the ship Recovery. The brush was made with boar bristle. This shaving kit was scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2019. It was brought to class by Drake Walker. Circa 1978 May 21, 2019
Early Recipients of Heart Transplants at Barnes Hospital in the 1980s This photograph shows some of the first recipients of a heart transplant at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, today Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Barnes started performing heart transplants in 1985.
