The original certificate was issued June 21, 1919 to certify the marriage of Claude D. Potter and Josie Anna Walker in Malden, Missouri, in the Missouri Bootheel.

This certificate was scanned as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Civic Memorial High School in spring 2019. It was scanned by Shelby Bedwell.

1967 Stanley Handyman Block Plane The Stanley Handyman block plane is used to shave wood. This wood shaver is made mostly of metal, but has two wooden handles. The grip on the front can be changed out or adjusted. This specific block plane was purchased in the late 1960's, after the specific brand's quality dropped in the 1920s.

This artifact was photographed as a part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in February 2020, and was contributed by Brynn Gent and family.

Puka Shell Necklace from the 1960s Puka shell necklaces were popular in Hawaii in the 1960s. The puka shell necklace was an attractive and inexpensive lei which could be made and sold on the beach. Lia Kampwerth's grandmother was on a trip to Hawaii in the 1960s when she bought this necklace.

This puka shell necklace was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Lia Kampwerth.
