	1901 Culver Block Brick	This is a brick made by Culver Blocks on February 1, 1901. The item was found in Edwardsville, IL. The sides of the brick are chipped and uneven in certain spaces. The Madison County Historial Society used Culver Blocks on their redevelopment of the Plaza between the 1836 Weir Home and the Archival Library in Edwardsville Illinois for historical continuity. 	Frank Harles Soda Bottle	Frank Harles owned a place called Soda Factory located in Edwardsville, Illinois on Main Street. Frank Harles began his business in 1871. This bottle was produced in his factory. On the bottle, it reads "Frank Harles Edwardsville Illinois." 	2007 Edwardsville High Yearbook	This is Matthew Spohr's 2007 Sophomore yearbook from Edwardsville Hish School. On the cover, it says, "1000 Tales" alongside the image of a tiger tail on the cover. Inside, the books are memories from his high school years. This book was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. 	1954 Kodak Camera	This Kodak camera was produced in Rochester, New York in 1954. Cameras such as these were constructed with metal and plastic and included features such as a large bulb flash and a shutter. This specific model, the "Brownie Holiday Flash" model included connections for a detachable flash bulb. This camera was photographed as a part of Madison Historical's class visit to Liberty Middle School. This camera was brought in by Avery Cline, who recieved it from its original owner, Wilma Cline.	1940s - 1950s	March 4, 2020
	1949 Argo Flex Camera	This is a camera made in 1949, which was purchased in Sweden. The camera is a rectangualar black box with two lenses, one to indicate when a picture is ready to be taken and another for the photographer to look through. On the back of the camera there is a red dot that is transluscent and tells the photographer how much unused film is left in in the reel until. To spin the film the photographer turns the small knob on the right side of the camera that you turn after each picture is taken. This camera was brought in by Sarabeth Breder as a part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in February 2020.	1949	March 4, 2020
	May 21, 2000 issue of The Telegraph, with "Verdict Rocks Shell" Headline	This May 21, 2000 issue of The Telegraph includes the headline article of Edwardsville-Shell Oil Co. which wasn't the process of a lawsuit with one of their employees, a former roofing worker who developed mesotheleoma, an asbestos related cancer while working at the Wood River refinery. The worker sued Shell for $34.1 million according to the article. 	1930-1950 Autograph Book Signed by Joe Dimaggio	Thia is an autograph book from James Hino. It is bound with blue leather, and has gold lettering and a picture of a Greco-Roman figure on the front. Two brass bands hold it together on the left side. It is signed by Joe Dimaggio. This book was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. 	1936 Indian Head (Buffalo) Nickel and Half Dollar Coin	This is coinage produced by the United States, a Nickel and Half-Dollar. The smaller coin is a Buffalo Nickel that is in fair condition and was minted in 1936. The larger one is a silver half dollar in worn condition that was also minted 1936. These coins were photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. They were brought to class by Caden Sexton.	1936	March 4, 2020
	2019 Brand Mikro	This is an example of the Mikro clothing brand which was created in March of 2019 by several students at Liberty Middle School. The students developed the idea of generating a brand after discussing it at a sleepover. This was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. 	1940s Chinese Luck Decoration	This is a Chinese Luck Decoration from the Republic of China in the 1940s a time of economic downturn following the Great Depression, which impacted economies across the globe, including China where the artifact is from. Because of the downturned economy, decorations like this were limited. The purple beads are representative of grapes signifying wealth, while the red and gold thread is symbolic for good luck. The beads on the decoration are round and hard, while the string is soft and course at the same time.
