Scott's grandmother passed the dollar bill down to Ratcliff Scott who owned the bill as of Feburary 2020. 1991 Edwardsville High School Yearbook | This is an Edwardsville High School yearbook from May 1991, owned by Todd Zude. This campus has since become the Lincoln Middle School campus. The total number of enrolled students in the 1991 school year was 1,519. 1973 Raggedy Ann Ornament | This object is a Raggedy Ann ornament. Raggedy Ann is a character in a series of children's books from 1880-1938. This ornament is 47 years old and was a gift to Erin Frank's Grandmother by a neighbor, Betty Matesam, to be gifted to Kendall Frank when she was born. The Frank family hangs the ornament on their Christmas tree every year. This object was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. Grove's Tasteless Chill Tonic, 1878-1910 | This clear glass bottle was used at the turn of the century to hold medicine for the treatment of chills caused by a fever. The bottle is inscribed as originating in Paris, France by Edwin Wiley Grove. Near the turn of the 20th century, this company moved to St. Louis. 1967 Stanley Handyman Block Plane | The Stanley Handyman block plane is used to shave wood. This wood shaver is made mostly of metal, but has two wooden handles. The grip on the front can be changed out or adjusted. This specific block plane was purchased in the late 1960's, after the specific brand's quality dropped in the 1920s. This artifact was photographed as a part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in February 2020, and was contributed by Brynn Gent and family. |

100,000 Reichsbank Mark from German Depression | This German Reichsbank Mark is an example of the currency issued following the German Depression Following World War I, which resulted in massive amounts of hyperinflation. The inflation began in 1914 and ended in 1923. The currency was completely revamped at the end of 1923 with the creation of the currency of the Retenmark. The Retenmark was later replaced in 1924 by the Reichsmark. This bill was brought in by Erik Petersen as a part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in February 2020. |

1975 Table Cloth with Rose Patches | This table cloth was made by Kiymet Kulavuz in Turkey during the 1970's. She had originally embroidered the rose patches herself, and then sewn them onto a table cloth before she got married. She then retired it to her daughter, Derya Kulavuz-Onal (who currently posseses it as of 2020), as a wedding gift in 2005. This tablecloth was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Pera Onal. |
