	1966 Copy of 1919 Marriage Certificate for Claude D. Potter and Josie Anna Walker	This Arkansas marriage certificate is a copy issued March 19, 1966. The original certificate was issued June 21, 1919 to certify the marriage of Claude D. Potter and Josie Anna Walker in Malden, Missouri, in the Missouri Bootheel. 	1940s Edwardsville Creamery Milk Bottle	This is an Edwardsville Creamery Milk Bottle from the 1940's. Glass milk bottles were used by delivery services to deliver milk to houses in crates daily. On the front it reads, "Property of Edwardsville Creamery Edwardsville, IL" and on the back it says, "One Quart Liquid". When people were finished with these bottles, they wouldn't always return them to Edwarsville Creamery. This object was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was found and brought into class by Alessa Heiser. It was found in her backyard. 	1958 Sports Review Magazine from Mount Morris, Illlinois	This issue of Sports Review Magazing was Published in Mount Morris, Illinois, in 1958. The issue's special topic is on baseball. On the cover is a picture of Lew Burdette, a Milwaukee pitcher, along with a caption that reads, "Lew Burdette; the pitcher who made Milwaukee famous."The magazine has some mild cosmetic defects and wrinkles on the cover and interior pages. 	2007 Collinsville Blockbusters Membership Card	This is a 2007 Blockbuster membership card for the Blockbuster in Collinsville, Illinois. The card is blue, white, and yellow and says Blockbuster in yellow letters. This was used to rent movies from local Blockbuster. Blockbuster were the more popular way of watching movies other than movie theaters before the popularization of streaming services. This membership card was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Ian Dean.	2007	March 4, 2020
	19th Century, Granite City Miller Pharmacy's Mortar and Pestle	This mortar and pestle was used in the middle of the 20th century by the Miller Pharmacy, located in Granite City. Both the mortar and its pestle are made of brass. The mortar and pestle is signed on the bottom "B. Miller," designating ownership to Bernard Miller, who owned and managed Miller Pharmacy. Bernard Miller used the mortar and pestle to crush medical ingredients as a pharmacist. This object was digitized as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. 	U.S. Navy Training Course Certificate, Awarded to Lester Mack Springman in 1945	This certificate was awarded to Lester Mack Springman on September 7, 1945, certifying he had completed the Navy Training Course to receive the ranking of Motor Machinist's Mate First Class. 	Circa 1970s Apple Sauce Cake Recipe	This is a recipe for apple sauce cake that was created circa 1970, and has since been passed down generationally through Elena Konradt's family. The paper has yellowed with age and has collected stains over time. This recipe was made every year for Elena's grandmother on her birthday. 	U.S. Navy Machinist's Mate Lester Mack Springman, 1944	This photograph shows Machinist's Mate Lester Mack Springman in his naval uniform during World War II. The photograph was taken in January of 1944. The Machinist Mate ensignia is visible on his left arm. 	19th Century Rifle of The Bank of Edwardsville's First Bank President	This rifle was used for protection from bank robbers at the Bank of Edwardsville in the late 19th century. It was manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. in October, 1884, and was passed down from the first bank president, E.M.(1868-1887) to each bank president until 2004, when the presiding president gave it to his son, Scott Wetzel. This image was collected as a part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in February 2020. These images were contributed by Corbin Wetzel and his father, Scott Wetzel. 	1894-1904 Ornamental Brick for Street Paving Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon, Illinois	This ornamental brick is one of many bricks meant to pave the streets of Glen Carbon around 1984-1904. This brick was photographed as a part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in February 2020. It was brought to class by Ameena Abdul-Rasheed, whose grandmother recieved the brick from Erwin Wein.
