Nichol Allen

I was born and raised in Truckee, California, a very small town in northern California that has a very interesting history. When I turned 20 years old I enlisted in the United States Marines Corps. My four years as a Marine afforded me experiences and opportunities that I would not have had. From my travels I was able to find new and exciting history everywhere I went. I planted my feet in Illinois in 2008 and have dedicated my time to uncovering the history of the place I now call home.
