Mudge details stowing away on a train car to Camp Moore and being confronted by the train conductor without sufficient form of payment. He mentions spending time with a man by the name of Edwards and their happening upon an all girls school at dismissal time, as well as the disappointment the soldiers felt regarind the fall of New Orleans. 1870 Spring Flower Vase The metal vase is from 1870 and stands nine inches tall. It is undamaged and not rusted, leaving it in overall good condition.

This vase was photographed as part of a Madison Historical class visit to Liberty Middle School in spring 2020. It was brought to class by Colin Niepert.
